A Voyage of (Self) Discovery

Debuting in August 2018, Scenic Eclipse will redefine ocean cruising with her stylish design, detailed range of inclusions – from all dining and beverages to transfers and gratuities – and exciting array of itineraries covering Antarctica and the Arctic through to Europe and The Americas.

Among the itineraries on offer during Scenic Eclipse’s inaugural season will be a series of Rediscovery Voyages, which provide travellers with an affordable entry into the world of luxury expedition cruising.

From cruises of just a few days to longer multi-week journeys, Scenic Eclipse’s rediscovery itineraries can be linked with subsequent departures to create epic month-long voyages, or with one of Scenic’s great city stays or land tours, for a more in-depth exploration of a destination.

A highlight of the rediscovery itineraries is an eight day cruise along the South America coast from Guayaquil in Ecuador to Chile’s port city of Valparaiso. Departing 16 November 2018, the cruise calls at Salaverry in Peru, where you can visit the ruins of Chan Chan or tour the charming colonial city of Trujillo.

There are also two incredible Transatlantic crossings: the inaugural 14 day crossing from Barcelona to Miami, departing 22 September 2018 and a 15 Day South America to the Canary Islands itinerary, departing Buenos Aires on 22 March 2019. The March departure can also be taken as a shorter five day cruise from Buenos Aires to Rio de Janiero, perfect for first time ocean cruisers or those who are curious about Scenic Eclipse’s new offering.
